Trey Anderson is an award-winning filmmaker, writer, and SAG-AFTRA actor with over a decade of experience. He recently starred in Santa Isnt Real and draws inspiration from John Carpenter, Jordan Peele, and Bugs Bunny. Originally from Dallas, he now creates horror in Toronto.
August Kyss is a queer Canadian Hall of Famer, author, and rising producer/actress known for standout roles in Murderbot, Murdercize, and Flesh of the Unforgiven. She's also the voice of Scream TV and host of Dark Rewind, bringing a bold edge to indie horror.
Jessie Robbins is a Canadian journalist and author whose interviews have appeared in Fangoria and Scream Magazine. A lifelong horror fan, she brings a sharp critical voice and deep genre love to the BITS 2025 jury.
Ashli Agate is a producer and founder of Operation X and cllctv space, known for elevating underrepresented voices. Her latest supernatural thriller, Nuns of Gabriel, highlights her bold, genre-driven storytelling.
Rachel Beaulieu (Anishinaabekwe) is a Manitoba-based filmmaker known for her award-winning documentaries and thrillers. Her latest short, Ojichaak - Spirit Within, premiered at BITS 2024, bringing Indigenous perspective to genre film.
Dre Boulet is a Vancouver-based writer-director whose films have screened globally. With experience at Netflix Animation and Unity, she crafts layered, female-driven stories that push genre boundaries on screen and beyond.
Luis Ceriz is a Toronto filmmaker, comic book artist, and co-founder of Horror-Rama and Suspect Video. A longtime genre advocate, he’s also a contributor to Delirium magazine and a champion of underground horror culture.
